Look out Shane!

No wories for Shane/Paul. They have a full point provisional. As many times as Shane has come thru the field this year. He WILL win the drivers Championship. Count on it

Where does it say that he has a full point provisional at? I am really asking, not trying to be a smart ass. From doing research on ASCSracing.com, he has already used two provisionals so the third one would only award him 20th place points, according to the rules on ASCSracing.com.

1st provisional you will receive money, and full points. 2nd provisional you will receive money and finishing points that do not exceed a 10th place finish. 3rd provisional you will receive money and finishing points that do not exceed 20th place finish.

It says in the race recap article from last night that he has a provisional available but doesn't say if it is full point. I believe the teams also get additional provisionals after the mid-point of the year. IMO there should be no provisionals, race your way in or load it in the trailer.

I believe that any race where the National teams are required to show up should be full point races and not show up points.
Herrera's fans wouldn't be singing such a gleeful song right now if that was the case.

While I agree that all shows on the schedule should give you points how you finish, not just show up points. You can wish and believe all you want. All drivers agreed to the same rules. As it stands, Herrera is 21 points out of first place, like it or not he is right there. I am singing a very "gleeful" song!!

Of course you are. wink

Herrera fans could take a few lessons in etiquette from the JJR fans. Smile

See ya Saturday.

Did some fan with a Herrera shirt on beat the hell out of you or something? Because I have no idea what that statement even means.

I like both Shane Stewart and Jason Johnson but I have been a Herrera fan since I was 3. I really hope he can pull it off.

No. Not at all. I had a very nice conversation with Johnny at Elma earlier this year. Nice guy from what I gathered. But you see, I don't even care about the points. Something you and Jerry Traylor don't get. It's OK. Eventually it will come to you. Smile

Ahh there it is. You were caught commenting on a message that you do not care about. You see from the title "Herrera within 21 points of ASCS National Title".... The key word here is points.

But hey thanks, we made this a hot topic!
