If you look at the car, you can see the name is spelled Priestley.

Was that his Hans device the track worker picked up? It certainly appears to be,if he had those belts tight then he needs to get a new set,. they really stretched,for his head and helmet to be that far out of the cage wow,he is very lucky.

yes, it was his head restraint device but not sure of the brand (HANS or other). There is great debate about whether or not Priestley's belts broke or whether they were never buckled...
