Are all set to collide in OIL CAPITAL RACING SERIES "sprint car" action this Saturday night at the Caney Valley Speedway!

Tulsa Oklahoma (October 14, 2011) – This Saturday night will see the brave open wheel sprint car warriors of the Oil Capital Racing Series embark on the ¼ mile clay bullring of the Caney Valley Speedway in Caney Kansas. For just 12 silver dollars, race fans will witness a full program of OCRS sprints, late models and turf cars. That’s right, only 12 Susan B. Anthony’s (or six duce bills), for a full program for all three classes!

The OCRS sprint car championship is coming down to the wire between the driver of the “Black Widow”, Tulsa’s Sean McClelland and the “Gasman”, Moore’s Whit Gastineau. The Gasman will attempt to make up a 77 point deficit to steal the title from the former two-time series champion (2002-2003).

Rafe “The Flying Farmer” Essary of Stillwell Oklahoma holds just a 3-point cushion over Owasso’s Matt “The Mongoose” Sherrell. These two have exchanged positions back and forth over the past few weeks and now that the season is in the “bottom of the ninth”; the time has come to decide their outcome.

Then comes the “Princess” of the OCRS series, Miss Shayla Waddell of Oklahoma City. Princess Waddell is ALWAYS a fan favorite everywhere she goes and this Saturday night, Waddell will attempt to ruin the weekend for her male counterparts.

Another position to be determined in 2011 points is the fifth spot between Dewey America’s Andrew Deal and the three time defending OCRS kingpin, Jamie Passmore of Rose Oklahoma. A scant 11 markers separate these two hard chargers.

With backing from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co; this years OCRS point fund will topple over $25,000 making for the best year end point fund EVER in the history of the association. OCRS has accepted the everyday challenges of the nations economy and continues forward progression.

Sprint Cars & Late Models for just $12 bucks! It’s the best value of the weekend! Come on out to CVS Saturday night as the temps will be fabulous and the racing action will be nothing short of spectacular!
