I wouldnt know but have heard the same from others . kinda makes ya go hmmmmm. think alot are racing the usac 360 series and also some 410 shows . also heard that you gotta be part of the club whatever that means . i think its a shame , but again its all hearsay with me im not clued in on all of it . but i like to ratchet jaw and stir the pot every now and then hehehe .
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Long season.
People are out of money. I can name a dozen teams parked without funds to run. Many people are saving their stuff for the Allcoast race.
Couple of teams are serving suspensions or just got done with them.
This club stuff is total bullshit...

You also have to remember that back in the day more than a few group's of racers called the guy's they ran with regularly a club, because in a sense it was; if it wasn't running under the thumb of one of the sanctioning body's. That is very much like what Ventura is today. It's not necessarily a bad thing, and Ventura proved that it could still be done in the modern era.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

'i tried to join but i was refused ' bentaxle ...when and by who? I raced Ventura off and on for years.Iwas always treated well, had a great time and saw some real comradity between the racers .the officiating always seemed even handed...but then I was'nt looking to start a brawl, wreck people or flip off the crowd when I had a bad night...most of the racers are great guys..but we do behave badly on ocasion and blame someone else ..like the track-officials-promoter.....but usually by say mon. afternoon were back on the car ..scheming how pull off a win next race...Ventura's problem is the economy..I don't always think Jim Naylor is right in all he does-but the racers aren't there cause they can't afford it right now, cost about $ 1000 per car out of pocket if you got a car in the garage..anybody interested I can give you the names of a handfull of great racers that would love to race..if they used your money
