Well, tonight was my first visit to the famed Williams Grove Speedway. The place is just awesome! The speed carried into the corners is insane! What a great track and atmosphere...I won't even get into the level of competition here or the amount of "pride" that the fans here have for their drivers, Ive never seen anything like it. I can't believe it took me over 40 years to get here, I guarantee it won't take that long to get back!!!

Yeah the average speed is a little misleading. I've been there once, they fly down the straightaways.

I would have paid to be there just to watch Logan challenge for the lead. I'm looking from afar, and am impressed with this young man's talent thus far, lets hope he does well in his career, especially with the Shark as his mentor.

Sorry ma'am, just going by the times, the numbers don't lie. With hardly any passing in the top ten, yawn, it's too bad you didn't go to Chico to see first and second come from the 8th and 9th rows. Typical cheerleader talk, lol.....

I don't know about anybody else, but the track is always more racey when it's slow. I'd rather have 18 second laps and passing throughout the field then 16 second laps and a parade, like we saw last night. Doesn't change the atmosphere though.

When you think about it the two guys that won. Chico and the grove both came from the left coast where they know how to race and not just follow the leader.
I don't aim to please.
I aim to hit the target.

From Indiana, not posse. And the numbers do lie. They measure speed based on an actual half-mile, most are not, like eldora, .45 in the groove. Williams grove is about .51-.52 in the groove.

Selinsgrove's TR was broken by Pittman 2 weeks ago, it's sub-16 now.

Definitely agree. Last night was a parade, though it was nice to see the track stay fast throughout time trials.

Yeah, the new one record at Selinsgrove is 15.810 seconds, 120.592 mph. I believe Lance Dewease and a few others may have gone under the 16 second mark earlier this year as well.
I would have to agree with the slower speeds too. 410 racing at Selinsgrove was much better years ago with slower speeds and more passing. Quite a few would agree the track is too big and too fast for 410s these days.

11 guys actualy broke the Old TR at Selinsgove during the National Open, and No no one did it earlier in the year. If that were the case the old TR would not have been 16.207 and that was the time Pittman and 10 others beat.
