Gregg is a Go for Fall Nationals
PETERSEN MEDIA: This weekend, Andy Gregg and his 7 Industries/Bret Ervin
Racing team will head back to the Silver Dollar Speedway for the first
time since his third place run at the Gold Cup Race of Champions, as he
is set for two nights of action during the Fall Nationals.
Last time Gregg visited the high-banked Silver Dollar Speedway, he
parked on the front stretch during the World of Outlaws sanctioned Gold
Cup Race of Champions as he upset the Outlaws and scored third at the
prestigious event.
While competing for Bill Bell and Brian Cannon Motorsports that
weekend, Gregg will be back in his familiar No.53, for what should be an
action packed two nights of racing in Chico.
Last year during this event, Gregg put on quite a show on the final
night as he ran the alphabet, charging from the C, to the B, to the A,
where a wreck knocked the Placerville, CA shoe out of the event
crediting him with a 19th place finish.
This years event should feature quite the field of cars as this is the only event taking place in northern California.
“I’m excited to get back up to Chico,” said Gregg. “When I was up
there at the beginning of the month I was able to put together three
pretty strong nights, so I’m excited to see what we can do back in the
53 car.”
