how come the goldenstatechallenge cant get many good car counts at calistoga like they use to

I was thinking the same thing. Last years race they had 32 for Saturday and 27 for Sunday. Maybe it's due to the Civil War Series and 360's taking off in NorCal as they had huge car counts for the Friday, Sat. & Sunday races.

this just my opinion but maybe calistoga should consider runing more 360 races their like memorial day weeknd cause i think 410 sprintcar racing not as popular like 360's are

There are more 360 teams in NorCal but doesn't the 410's draw the larger crowds? This is the case in PA and Ohio. The Friday crowd at Petaluma & Sat. crowd at Stoga was very good.

I think overall 410 car counts are down. Seems like a GSC show at a bull-ring track draws alot of the "local" 360's, but at 'stoga why waste the $$ on tires and fuel when even the best 360 is gonna be 2 seconds off of the pace.

maybe calistoga should concider having 360 shows over the memorial day weekend next yr just a thought
