This weekend we had quite a few new cars out. We would like to thank ALL fans and racers for coming out. We did have a late start but hope the track was worth it. As John said in the driver meeting Southern Oklahoma Speedway will continue to improve and strive to be the best racing experience. We would like to announce there will not be a temporary USRA license fee for the remainder of the season for the sanction classes if you are not running for USRA points and no track registration fee. This is done to show appreciation by both John and Nicky Webb and allowed by USRA for competing at this facility.
We had some awesome racing last week with many cars starting in the rear and making tech. The track was fast and the dust was almost completely gone. The super talent that took the checkers were both hometown boys and girls and racers new to the S.O.S. family! Three wide racing was common for the night and a few even tried for four wide.
Southern Oklahoma Speedway is a four wide 3/8 clay blend oval with superfast high bank bowl entries and smooth speedy exits. The new owners/promoters have improved the facility greatly and continue to do so every week.
Next week we will be running all six classes. Gates open at 5:00, Driver Meeting at 7:00, Green at 8:00.
We are located just south of Ardmore, OK. Take I-35 to exit 29 (S.H. 70), turn east 0.8 miles to S.H. 77. Turn south 1.8 miles.

Racecievers are required! Rentals avail. $10
Transponders are required for classes Stock Car, Limited Modified, Limited Late Model, and Modified! Rentals avail. $15 (Westcode system, the red AMB units will not work at this time.)
MUFFLERS ARE REQUIRED!!!! Cone inserts are available at the track.
