I have no idea who put these puzzles up. But it is interesting to see a little bit of the evolution of our sport.

1. Ron Shuman in the Ofixco car.

2. Gary Bettenhausen.

Hey Harry, I took those pictures back in 1982 at the Springfield mile. The race was run together with the World of Outlaws. Don't ya just love all of the driver safety equipment covering up the drivers???? I've been going through some old photos and will post a few every once and a while.

Awesome, I am looking forward to working them. Yes, you can really see the drivers working in their office. One question, where are the fans in the stands? If you are a regular at the PAS, you will find me high up in the Turn 4 Hood.

You're trying to make me remember almost thirty years ago??? Too many times on my head since then.... If my memory serves me well, the stands were about half full that day, with the dirt champs and outlaws there,,,,probably why they only had the event once.

Hmm, I guess I will have to do like so many other people in the inland empire are doing. Just hang around, not pay anything since the eviction process takes so long to implement. Should be good for a few years. Heh, heh, heh.
