The idiot returns!
After his main event win in the most recent
Hoosier Tire California 360 Civil War/Petaluma race July 9th, Andy
Forsberg referred to himself as an idiot for his hammer down driving
style no matter what the conditions were and inferred he got away with
one with his win over Sean Becker, whom he said was "way better than him
on a track like this" when Petaluma went uncharacteristically dry on
top and tacky on the bottom. After the engines were silenced that
night, Andy Forsberg still had a handle on first place in the season
point standings and a little more wiggle room as the Auburn wheelman
held a 13 point cushion over second place Steven Tiner of Visalia.
Those two along with many others will be back in the pits at Petaluma
this weekend when Round #10 of the 360 series rolls back into Wine
Country including locals Alissa Geving of Penngrove, who sits fourth in
Civil War points and is dominating the weekly point racing at Petaluma
Speedway, 2010 Petaluma Speedway track champion and most recent Petaluma
Speedway winner Bradley Terrell of Sebastopol, and current Civil War
Rookie of the Year point leader Chase Johnson of Penngrove will all be
on their home track, ready to face the premiere traveling 360 series in
California.
Gates open around 4:30pm and racing around 5:30.
Late
Models and Dirt Modifieds round out a show packed with horsepower! Hwy
101 North or South to the Washington St. exit, then one block West to
the Wine Country's City of Speed, Petaluma Speedway!

Can you make sure the normal Petaluma Speedway surface shows up versus the track that was there the last civil war :-)

Idiot or not I'm sure the F & F Team is very happy with their driver choice this year. Best of luck to the entire team!
