They spent all weekend taking the extra time to water the track, and it resulted in a good weekend of racing. But when it came down to the biggest race of the weekend, they don’t touch the track, and it turned into that crappy rubbered up feature. The last time they redid the track, was after the 410 heats. So that meant 2 B-mains and feature for 360s, and a C-main and B-main on the track before the Kings Royal feature. Come on Eldora, if they redid the track like they did Friday, the feature should of been much better! I wonder if because the 360 feature was so good, they were afraid to touch the track.
-Having the 360s is great; they put all some good racing both nights. Hope they keep this up for this weekend.
-Did anyone else think Stewart laid down for Jessica on Fri and didn’t really try to pass her for the last transfer spot? Now that’s love!
-The heat race on Fri between Sammy/Steve/Donny was nothing short of fantastic. 2 grumpy old men not wanting to give an inch to each other allowed Donny to pass them both!
-A very poor slide job by Sweet caused Lynch into the wall and eventually Saldana getting hurt too
-Gravel put on a show both nights in the 360s...a late caution, and he might of won Sat too after coming from deep in the field
-The decision of saying all restarts are single file (ie "changing the rules in the middle" ) because of "safety reasons" was bs. On a rubbered up track, setting everything up to single file meant there wasn’t a chance for a pass by the leaders!

The place has been successfull in spite of their actions forever. The track layout its all they have going for them. Them and Hagerstown have me about crazy.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

The track was good Friday night. There is no reason in the world to start hotlaps at 6:30 at any track anywhere in the middle of July. It's time to eliminate the 360's on Saturday night & just start the program at 8PM.

Actually it was not a "good weekend" of racing. Friday night was OK. Saturday night was basically a yawner. All night. As for the 360s being great. Compared to what? I could go for the street stocks on fri night, they're just as entertaining and not as hard on the surface, and let the WoO stand alone on sat night. I don't think TS lays down for anybody and I think JZ would be insulted if he did. Any of the 3 in the fri heat you refer to only go at it one way. Got nothin to do with anybody bein grumpy. Got everything to do with startin toward the front in the A. Poor slide job? It's racing, or maybe he should have just fell in line and played nice. Think Joey wouldn't have been goin for it? Gravel is decent and might be a player one day in the 410s nationally but not yet. They oughta scrap the dbl file restarts altogether. It should be enough that they allow the field to close up under yellow behind the leader, lapped cars in place, if you can't pass him from there when it goes back to green you don't deserve it. Get rid of the cone on the front stretch and let the leader initiate the restart anytime after the approximate halfway point on the back stretch.
REMEMBER OUR TROOPS!!!

First time they have ever run the the 360 feature before te Royal to the best of my knowledge and I hope it was the last time I ever see that.
I also agree that changing the rules in the middle of the race was a little mind boggling?

I remember when they used to DROWN the track regularly throughout the night, almost always had a good track back then. Also not having a support class at all.
