Here is a presentation link of the State Fair Master Plan from the Dec 2010 MAPS3 Citizens Advisory Board State Fairgrounds Subcommittee. Interesting that 5 of the 8 "citizens" on the subcommittee also happen to serve on the State Fair Board. At any rate, the "Master Plan" looks pretty uninspiring to me.

And another couple of links. The power point goes back to March 2009. Looks like the highest and best use of our beloved race track is paid paved parking.

Also noticed in the presentation that the site consultants spoke with 25 user groups and stakeholder individuals. I assume that one of the user groups were racers or those in the racing community. On page four, the discussion highlights that electrical infrastructure needs were also identified. The electrical infrastructure issues are related to the entire grounds not just the speedway.

I'm still waiting with great anticipation to hear where the city is placing its new racing facility to meet the needs of the many fans and participants who were displaced. Surely they wouldn't just tear down one facility with no plan for erecting another. Can't wait!

Hea stud I have let it go. By the way if I want to dwell on it then it is my burden to bare. But, thanks for the concern.
If you took time to read the article then you can see that it talked about more than just the fairgrounds. As a taxpayer of Okc this was something that was an interest to me. As it dealt with more lies from the council. All I was doing was delivering news to others that might find it interesting as well. Yes, it is history but if we do not learn from our history than it is bound to happen again.
By the number of looks on this thread I am sure there are others that were interested in the topic. Also, there was nothing saying that you had to look. The topic of the thread was clear enough that this had something to do with Maps. .
