The racing at Knoxville this year has been awesome. Saturday night again turned out to be a great track, racing, weather, announcing, etc.. McCarl and Maeschen and other drivers had some of the best saves I've seen. Congrats to Nate Van Haaften for a win long time coming. Ryan Anderson congrats on your good run in your 360, but welcome to Crashker Phillips. With Casey's promotion what a show for $7.50!

I agree completely. The track has been amazing all year except that first race, which was the weather's fault. I didn't get to go this past weekend due to a wedding, but from the results it sounded exciting.

Great show as usual. Dunkins do an outstanding job prepping the track 99% of the time.

As for Tasker, he was out of control all night. People say he's a heck of a nice guy. That does not change the fact he drives over his head most of the time. Several times he used up the entire width of the back straight just getting from turn 2 to 3. Drove in to 1 way too hard and then turned sideways in front of Anderson. I was surprised it took till the second A for him to crash or cause a crash. Not trying to bash Taz, a lot of young drivers need to learn they will go faster if they lift their right foot a little and keep the car straight. He often looks like he's driving a non wing car through the corners.

Unfortunately he took out Anderson and Humston in the melee he caused. Humston was really coming on hard too after having rotten luck take the win from him in the first feature.

Yup, I gotta admit it, you fine folks from Knoxville are a really spoiled bunch. A pit full of sprint cars every Saturday night. One of the most outstanding facilities in all of dirt track racing. Some top level sprintcar racers from all over the world, including a very talented group of home grown drivers. Not to mention the Nationals every year....... We in other parts of North America could only be so lucky. Am I envious?? Hell yeah!!! But I'm looking at getting my fill come August.

Yep, got my first dosage of Knoxville Saturday online and boy do I miss that place. As much as I love the PA clay, is it August yet?

My single favorite thing about Knoxville is that little bump coming off of turn 4 at the chalkline...love watching the cars hit that at full speed.

I will have to watch a replay but my thoughts are that Tasker wasn't completely at fault. So lets not throw him to the wolves yet and he is a really nice kid. I just think anybody in there right mind would have lifted after getting pinched on the front shoot. Which was a lil ballsy of Tasker but it wasn't no Darrah moment for sure. Lets let him get a lil older before he wears crashker for ever.JMO

Goodpoint DW. Someone in front of Chad got slowed down for the wreck a little quicker than he did.

I've been going to Knoxville since the late 50's. I remember the year a young kid from Souix Falls showed up. He was a real gasser. Not real consistant, used the whole track, but fun to watch. His name was Doug Wolfgang.

The only difference is Doug had talent and no motor, Tasker has all motor but no talent.

Well, you're not quite right on either count... but it hardly matters. If he (Tasker) wouldn't have taken out Anderson (and he did, watch the video on Knoxvilles sight) then Humston wouldn't have gotten caught up in the mess. I am usually pretty leniant on racers as I've been around the game for a long time and I understand the mentality it takes to drive a race car, however restraint and patience are two things that make a good driver great.
