Siemers leads NCRA Modified Division to Belleville on Sunday Night!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELASE – Park City, Kansas – June 26, 2011 - It is off to the High Banks of Belleville for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Smiley's Racing Products modified division as they take on the big half mile oval in Belleville, Kansas on Sunday night, July 3rd.

Fresh off his first career series victory back on June 19th at 81 Speedway, Bill Siemers of Mulvane, Kansas will come into the event atop the point standings as he leads Dan Powers of Wichita, Kansas by 55 points. 2008 series champion Marc Hurd of Wichita currently sits third in the standings, just 70 points out of the lead with Tyler Davis of Derby sitting fourth in the point standings, 85 points behind. Jim Johnson, also of Derby sits in the fifth spot in the point standings.

Sixth through tenth in the point standings include Casey McClaskey, Mike Jarvis, Todd Doty, leading series rookie contender Austin Allen and Ross Shipman.

Four events have been completed on the 2011 NCRA modified schedule with four different drivers having reach victory lane. Former four time series champion Brian Franz of Halstad, Kansas picked up the season opener at 81 Speedway back on April 2nd before Ross Shipman scored his first career series victory at the track on May 28th. Justin Folk scored one for the local contingent as the tour made their first appearance since 2009 at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas the next night. Siemers won the afore mentioned event at 81 Speedway.

Gates on Sunday night will open at 5:00 PM with racing set for 7:30 PM. General admission tickets are $18 for adults and $5 for kids 14 years and younger. Pit passes will be $25. The Belleville High Banks is located 2.0 miles north of US 36 on US 81, then 0.4 mile southeast on M St. to 7th St., then 0.1 mile east (near the water tower, at the North Central Kansas Fairgrounds).

The NCRA late model and Great Plains late model divisions will also be in action as well.
