What year did sammy race this car, or was it done as a die-cast only?

He ran the 83jr in 2002. The next year he ran the Orecal/Beefpackers car with the #1 on it.

Who do you thinks gives out numbers based on performance and who do you think gives out numbers anyway for sprint cars .
I am sure Sammy is glad it is OK with you that he runs the number one.
Ask him how long he has run it
Kevin is running Sammy's car what number would like him to put on it.

He runs # ONE because he is the # one sprint car driver... Just ask the other drivers what Sammys tail looks like..They all have seen it alot this year... Old Guys Rule....

It's just a number. Sprint car drivers can run any number they like so if Kevin wants to use his dad's number (which he has quite often in his career) then so be it. It's not like it is in Formula 1 and you get your number from the Constructor's championship standings from the year before.
I still remember that B1st car at Knoxville, I can't think of the drivers name at this moment though.

Tony 'Storm' Norem, what a show he put on night after night. He should be made to start every race in the back row just for the fans sake. It was nice to see him back in a car again this year, been too long.....

Tony is still going fast with the UMSS. Well, until 1:55 into this video from Mark Meeks anyway. Stick around to see a great finish between 73 Andy Jones and 34 Brad Barickman.
