Question-When is the last time that you saw a full house at a 360 regional race??? Answer-The last time you saw a GS race at Houston. There is something to be said about the promotion at the Houston track. Winged 360's, one support class, a derby, free general admission, $10 parking and all the beer you want to drink equal a packed house. Awesome!!!

Pray tell who those "great personalities" would be. Give them their fifteen minutes.

Houston is definitely a fun place to run, aside from the track being wide and fast, the crowd is always 5,000+ strong (around 9,000 last weekend)! The crowds are always good in Beaumont too. Saturday in Houston the ASCS Gulf South organizers had us go into the stands with our helmets to raise money for the Joplin, MO tornado victims. We had done this a few races in a row, but Saturday was amazing. I must have personally collected around $500 from the fans, it was great. I've run at a lot of tracks and series, and the Johnson's do a great job running the Gulf South region, and of the tracks do their best to host quality shows. The racers are great too. We are still relatively new to winged sprint cars, and the other teams rarely hesitate to help us or each other when in a pinch. If you ever have a chance, try to support the series and it's teams.
