Father's Day Special Await the NCRA Modified Division!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELAESE – Park City, Kansas – June 13, 2011 - After three events it is a tie for the top spot on the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Smiley's Racing Products modified division as the tour heads to 81 Speedway in Park City for the "Hoosier Daddy" Father's Day special Sunday night. What's so special about it you may ask? It is the first time in track history that three divisions of NCRA will be on the same card at the speedway as the sprint car and Great Plains late model tours will also be in action.

Casey McClaskey of Ponca City, Oklahoma, a mainstay on the tour for several years, and Mulvane, Kansas driver Bill Siemers share the top spot of the point standings coming into the night. Ross Shipman, who picked up his first career series victory at the track back on May 28th, currently sits third in the point standings just fifteen points out. Austin Allen of Goddard has looked strong thus far in his rookie season and sits fourth in the point standings while defending series and track champion Brian Powers of Wichita sit in the fifth position.

Other series regulars in the top ten point standings expected to compete for the $1000 first place prize include Todd Doty, Dan Powers, Marc Hurd, Tyler Davis, Mike Jarvis, Jim Johnson, Justin Moler, Carson McKeen, Shawn Langhover, Jr. and Sr., Josh Lanterman, Danny McFadden and career modified feature winner with the series and at the speedway, Brian Franz. Close to forty drivers are expected

Several special attractions are planned for the day as the night will also be Steve King Foundation night at the speedway. For more information on all events, which includes a steak dinner, carnival rides for the kids, a bean bag tournament and more go to the new official NCRA website www.racencra.com.

Adult general admission is just $15 for race night, which begins with heat races at 7:00 PM.

81 Speedway is located north of Wichita on I-135 to exit 16, then .7 mile west on 77th St. in Park City. For more race and ticket information contact the 81 Speedway office (316) 755-1781.

The series would like to take this time to thank their modified partners and sponsors for the 2011 race season:

Park City, Kansas, Smiley's Racing Products, Hoosier Racing Tires, Sunoco Race Fuels
