NCRA Great Plains Late Model Region Back in Action Sunday Night!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas - June 13, 2011 - The National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Smiley's Racing Products DIRTcar Great Plains late model region fires back into action this coming Sunday night for the first of its kind "Hoosier Daddy" Father's Day special at 81 Speedway. It will be the first time in the series 41 year history that the late models will join forces with the sprint car and modified divisions all on the same program.
Sunday nights feature finale for the Great Plains late model region will pay $1000 to win and $200 to start and will also go towards points for the DIRTcar series. Right now it is Shelton, Nebraska's Steve Kempt the series points leader by a mere five points over Bo Egge of Kearney, Nebraska. Another Nebraska driver, Chad Dolan of Gibbon sits in the third position while Brad and Vince Wagoner sit fourth and fifth respectively.
Several special attractions are planned for the day as the night will also be Steve King Foundation night at the speedway. Adult general admission is just $15 for race night, which begins with heat races at 7:00 PM.
