On Father's Day, Sunday night, June 19th, it is not only a huge three division of NCRA "Hoosier Daddy" night at the races at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas but it is also Steve King Foundation night. I will post the flyer for all the events leading up to Sunday nights NCRA sprint car, modified and Great Plains late model action on another post.
The Steve King Foundation night is to get donations from all in the racing community to help with this organization. Through donations, the Foundation is able to help out the racing drivers and families due to injury in an accident or even in death. You can find out more about them here http://www.stevekingfoundation.org/. It was founded by the late Steve King's sister Danette.
Anyhoot, I would like to see if there is an interest in all you tidbiters contributing? I will be going up there to cover the races for NCRA and if you all are willing, please get with me and either give me your contribution, either check (made out to Steve King Foundation) or cash, and I will give it too Danette that Sunday night on behalf of the people on www.oklahomatidbits.com. I will also write down your name so she knows exactly who all contributed.
If you are interested, then please email me at [email protected] and we can set up on meeting or whatever the case may be.
Thank you for reading...
