NHRA lastnight, Eagle Raceway tonight! Just got back to Topeka after a great night of racing at Eagle, me my wife and two sons had a blast, has to be one of the best weekly 360 shows around. Maybe a few to many door and fender classes, but we'll be back for more in a couple weeks. Nothing like a night at Eagle.!

Yeah, would love to be in Topeka for the nitro stuff, TV will have to do but we have Brainerd, and Eagle, what can I say, some of my fondest 2 and a few 3-day WoO events at that wonderful track. Too far to go now for just the regular show. Would be nice to live between Eagle and Knoxville. Don't remember a dusty night at Eagle--ever.
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

The last time the Outlaws were at Eagle in '09 they brought 9 cars. The rest of the field was composed of our local guys. Made it a pretty easy decision to try something else, and the ASCS Nationals last year were a very worthy replacement.

Dan; so glad to hear that you enjoyed your evening at Eagle. The owners and all of us that work at Eagle try our darndest to make the fans and drivers happy. You're welcome anytime (as is everyone), and the next time you come by our little facility, stop at the Pit Shack and say howdy.
Madsen; you really should come for the Eagle Nationals the 10th & 11th of next month. A 2-day show with the best 360 drivers in the country taking on the locals. If nothing else, catch the Nebraska Cup September 11th. Almost all tracks are finished with their seasons then, and we get a LOT of out of towners as well as quite a few of the national ASCS teams.
Eldorafan78; Deet pretty much hit the nail on the head. Tony Bruce Jr. knew that Eagle was the place to hold a national ASCS show, and made it happen. Thanks Tony!!!
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.

Not to mention opening up some $ for other events such as the Nebraska Cup and Ice Breaker. Im a huge fan of Eagle Raceway and wish I could make it up there more often than I do, but the cash just isnt in place for the weekly trips Id like to put in. The Eagle Nationals are on my radar and anyone in the area should chec out TBJ promotions website and check out the ticket prices... I think its $30 for two nights Grandstand tickets... A GREAT deal to see 50+ Sprinters in the pits

There were 13 WoO guys there plus Sammy, Ryan Anderson, Patrick Bourke and Matt Wasmund. There were only five "locals"...obviously if it weren't on Saturday vs. Knoxville, you would have had a higher car count...

Every track in Midwest wanting to run a Sprint race in the midwest cant work around Knoxvilles schedule Bill W. It is what it is. Obviously Knoxville gets their cars for a reason, no ones blaming them. All he said was the ASCS was a worthy replacement of the Outlaws at this facility, and most agree.

Just saying scheduling it against Knoxville was the death knell...I've been to plenty standing room only WoO shows at Eagle on other nights...heck, I would have been there in 2009 too if not on a Saturday. Nothing against ASCS at all, just saying anyone could see that from a mile away (or 250 miles)...LOL

Bill;
Believe me, we at Eagle know all too well the problems of scheduling against Knoxville. But when the WoO was at Huset's Friday it didn't leave a lot of choices.
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
