Important Information for NCRA Sprint Cars Memorial Day Weekend!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – May 17, 2011 - Officials with the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Smiley's Racing Products have announced important racer information pertaining to the four race Memorial Day weekend swing for the series sprint car tour.

It all kicks off on Friday night, May 27th at RPM Speedway in Hays, Kansas before heading to the third annual Steve King Memorial at the Great American Dirt Track in Jetmore, Kansas on Saturday and Sunday night, May 28-29th. The four race weekend swing will conclude on Monday night, May 30th at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas.

First off, all four shows scheduled for that weekend will have an open left rear tire rule and will be just for those four races only.

Also, the two day show at the Great American Dirt Track will be two complete one day events, both paying $3000 to win. No drivers will be locked into Sunday night's show from the feature finale on Saturday night.

For more information on this four day NCRA sprint car swing or anything else pertaining to the series, contact the office (316) 755-1781 or check them out on their new website www.racencra.com.

Do you know why for the open tire rule? Just curious not wanting to start anything.

Think it might have something to do with Jetmore being a co-sanctioned deal with the ASCS sooner region so they went ahead and opened it up for Friday night (Hays) and Monday night (Wichita).
