Ok before i start this DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT take this post as a b**ch session, i have a question for anybody who may know the answer.
Ok with that out of the way Does anybody know how they do the lineups at Brill, The reason i ask is i have been to alot of tracks and most do it the same way But from what i saw brill does it a little different. Most tracks if you start up front for you Heat and Finish in the top 5 of your heat you usually start Back up front for the A-feature based on your point average. There was at least one instant where i saw where a car finished in the top 5 of his heat after starting on the Front Row. So naturally i figured they would start in atleast the first 3 rows well to my surprise they started in the 7th row with the points leaders 2 rows infront of them any answer would be greatly appreciated thanks. Once agian NOT A B**CH session just a curious.

I might be able to help. Like many area tracks Brill does line up by inverted point average with new drivers on the back. The only different to that is when they have over 12 cars in a class as did the e-mods last week. In that case the top 12 from the heats are lined up by inverted point average with the remaining heat finishers lining up heads up behind 12th place in the feature.
They had 3 e-mod heats so the top four finishers in each heat made up the top 12. If a new driver finishes in the top 12 he will start in 12th.
Last week they had a lot of new e-mod drivers and some drivers elected to start of the rear. When that happens regular point drivers get pushed up higher in the starting lineups.
This enables drivers to earn a little better starting position if they finish high enough in the heats.
I don't know if this totally answered your question but that is how the lineups were done last week as I pulled the lineups for them.
I am the developer for the software they use at Brill and I that is how I have it programmed for them. Similar versions of this software is also used at Creek, Ada, Outlaw, Thunderbird, Caney, Humboldt, Port City and the OCRS. But Brill and Creek might be the only tracks doing the top 12 inversion.
