There just two guys who choose to go to an area lacking in talent to cherry pick.
I don't aim to please.
I aim to hit the target.

Regarding cherry picking, don't they all look for that once in a while, you gotta pay the bills short of robbing a bank.It makes no difference Posse or Rustler I think the public is really afforded a nice contingent of 410 racers Nationwide, with the locals and travelers, all fans are so lucky to have this and next time you get a chance ,thank a veteran, for their service to the nation and keeping us free so we can have these luxuries in life today.Who does not get a lumpy throat every Memorial Day when you hear "Back Home Again In Indiana" and see and hear the Purdue University band, and hear Gomer sing and think of your loved ones who paid the ultimate price that affords you to just be here today, that is America and we are a proud people.True Americans do not have to think about it they feel in their hearts.

then Pittman needs to remove himself from the starting roster of the Morgan Cup and watch from the hauler like Sammy...

...and the same "argument".
Please find me a quote from Daryn to show that he is not Posse. The Outlaws labeled him as that and his car owner labeled him as that and he didn't object.
For the 4th time this week, "Posse" simply means PA local. Therefore, Lucas and Cody aren't "Posse" and Daryn, Tyler and Justin are. Since Lincoln opened up in February, Pittman has left once, last week. Tell me he's not a regular...
You guys wonder why so many people like Cubic over-celebrate, I can tell you right now it's because of people like you, the ones that argue quotes and facts.

Once upon a time.........if you did not race under the sanction of USAC or IMCA a fella down in Texas came up with the idea of profiting by banding these "outlaws" together and traveling around under the name "THE WORLD OF OUTLAWS" ! The idea these guys operated under was to make a living driving a racecar.
IT is called the free enterprise system which is very popular under capitalistic governments.
But somewhere along the way other people decided that it was also THEIR right to determine whether this was the proper way for the more accomplished and therefore the more successful competitors to take advantage of their lesser peer group.
It's a free country and so it is common to envy and gossip about these guys, but it would seem more approriate to encourage their ability to work the system to their advantage.IT IS OLD SCHOOL........RIGHT ?
Back in the "day" we just considered ourselves very fortunate to get to see these guys do their thing without driving many miles to enjoy the privilege.
Thank you for my turn at the podium.

Ironically, Daryn didn't start picking cherries until the WoO came to town...

And the win gave the Pennsylvania Posse 10 wins in the past 11 Outlaw features at the Grove.“For sure, without a doubt, I don’t even want to hear any questions about it,” Heffner said. “It was a PA Posse win, there’s no arguing that fact.”
“They’re just good,” Pittman said of the Grove regulars. “When the competition gets better here, drivers have no choice, but to get better. You either have no success or you find a way to get better. Right now, sprint car racing is healthier in Pennsylvania than any other part of the country.” “(The Outlaws) are very good and the best at what they do, but at this track, there is a lot of great competition and great car owners that give really good drivers good equipment,” Pittman said. “They don’t go to any other part of the country that has car owners that supply talented drivers with the same equipment they have. Most of the time they out-class people when they roll in, but that’s not the case here.”

Guess you had to be at the Open last year to hear Sammy say he wasn't an Outlaw...how do you argue with that? Minthess, don't you have a 2011 Mustang that needs rebuilt or something?

What's the big deal? It's only the Morgan Cup. (with all due respect to Mr. Hughes), It's only 12 laps, doesn't pay much, it's not points. Pittmans starting towards the back anyway, I don't see him coming to the front. Lance Dewease doesn't get passed for the lead.

I wonder if back in the day before message boards and such, if drivers like Opperman, and Allen, (the list could go on for ever) were considered cherry pickers when they showed up all over the country to race.

I think the point of his statement was to prove that Pittman is considered Posse.
