Disappointing field of 11 entries (2 winged spec sprints) for the 360 winged s/c race tonight.
Track was fast with room on the top & bottom, weather was typical Petaluma chill
Allisa Geving in the #3x went wire to wire to cross the checkered flag 1st. Geving ran the 25 lap distance with a severely damaged nose wing . Geving received the damage when front row starters #52 David Lindt, Jr. and #10x of Roberto Kirby collided exiting turn 4 to take the green flag. Lindt's night would be over with a broken front axle. The next start would be called back as officials ruled the #10x jumped the start and he was sent to the rear for the 3rd attempt. The 3rd attempt was successfiul - Geving roared to the lead and never looked back.
Geving posted fast time at a 12.912 in a group qualifying format. Only a 3rd place finish in her heat kept Geving from a clean sweep.

***#84Simpson was very quick with a new bullet under the hood (1st engine?) built by Brad Peters of Lakeport.
