They pick Jason Sides and his pony tail to show fans sprint car racing. Maybe its a followup to Kyle Petty last week. Who has the best pony tail. Don't get me wrong, Sides is a hell of a driver and always a threat with less than the best equipment but few people today have hair like that. To each his own I guess. Hope he's not wearing bell bottoms.

Amen! Hair has nothing to do with anything. Maybe at one time in our history it was a matter of rebellion. Those things went out the door long time ago. Now it's just a matter of style. I just cut my hair short a few months ago after 25 years of long hair. I am a well respected technical professional on my job and a deacon at my church. Sorry, but the hair just doesn't matter. Go Jason!

I agree; hair length has nothing to do with his talents in a sprinter. Hard as it is to believe, I had hair down past my lower back (a LONG time ago when I still had enough to get long  )
I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.
