4-27-2011 - We have come to agreement with the ASCS Midwest Region to have them co-sanction the Spring Sprint Car Nationals make up race on Friday, July 8th. The purse will be the same as listed above, and who knows with more time might even grow more! The ASCS vs the JSTS, I like the sounds of it! It will have our RR tire rule - which is either the SC-25 or ASCS Tire and an open Left Rear and our Head Rule, (which will allow sleved down open heads). A lot more details to be worked out, but wanted to let everyone know.
Also I90 speedway in Hartford SD has a national race the next night.

Alot of us Twin Cities area sprint car fans will be at Cedar Lake watching the World of Outlaws on July 8th. I'd loved to been able to come to your show, but can't turn down watching the Outlaws close to home!

Both shows, the Outlaws and the Spring Nationals, will be great shows! Hopefully race fans will support one or the other.
Great "call" on the open cylinder heads and LR tire rule. Even though most Jackson teams are now using ASCS heads, the rule exception ensures that all Jackson area racers can compete. No more excuses!
Congrats again to the Jackson Speedway (including Van Wyhe and Folken Bros.) for piecing together an awesome purse! Good luck on the 8th.

More is not always better when it comes to car count. More is definitely not better when 200 extra miles is involved in getting to Jackson. I hope both venues get good weather and racing on July 8th.

Thank god we know where D-6 is gonna be.
If D-6 is gonna be at CLS, maybe Jackson should seriously consider another schedule adjustment!

I like the make-up date. With a JSTS show the night before just an hour up the road in Redwood Falls, MN. Could be a nice 2 night trip for some out of the area 360 guys. Tony Bruce made a surprise stop last year in Redwood Falls and with this new make-up date, I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more bigger names at Redwood Speedway on July 7th.
