Why don't they run the heats on TV instead of recapping them. Is this only a 1/2 hour show or something???

I did not like the show at all. If they think that is going to get the people hooked they are way off.

I tell ya does anyone else miss those good ol' days of TNN Brock Yates, Steve Evans and that other dude with the moustache pretty much had it right on when they put any kind of motorsports ecspecially the sprints on TV. Now im not knocking anyone or anybody trying to re-create that magic but showing sprint cars on TV is pretty comparible to watching sex on TV just not the same if your not there. Sprint Car racing is quick, fast, and almost impossible to capture the action on TV on tracks anywhere from 3/8 miles to the big halves, NASCAR and the Indy 500 are examples of Motorsports where its okay to run to the shitter, or get a snack while watching it, taking a nap in the middle or shooting the BS with friends while its on the tube and to anyone thats ever tried to watch 200+ miles an hour in a overly packed facility, TV is the Ultimate solution for seeing more of the race, interviews, fights, crashes, etc. For example Indy you can sit in the front stretch stands and watch em come out of the corner and zing by, then they are on a track thats equivelent to 5 city blocks or more away from you as the viewer, pretty much when something exciting happens you can guarentee your not gonna be anywhere near it and some idiot isnt spilling beer all over everyone or running to the toilette every 5 minutes. I can remember watching TNN host from famous tracks like Eldora, Williams Grove, Devils Bowl, Syracuse, Knoxville etc. you watched the races, you always had some information about the drivers and backgrounds, information about the tracks and there history and in depth interviews, real time TV sometimes sucks and as far as sprint car racing is concerned i think to hook a person they need to see it in real life, most famous race car drivers of other sports that are high on the pedestal watch a sprint car race and there first words are " these guys are nuts" Or to first timers that thinks NASCAR is exciting show em one sprint car race they almost lose there minds Smile Hell last year they televised garden tractor racing and demolition derby's frown Wow what ever happened to the drag racing, and the famoust romp in the swamp in Naples for the Swamp Buggies, semi races, Watching those broadcast where like watching movies???????? Hell who will ever forget on TV or in real life watching the drama that Doug Wolfgang performed at the Nationals coming from behind in the famous Weikert Beefmobile, or Keplers Kodiac machine, or the year he came from the E feature and placed 5th in the A-main finish even though you knew he didnt win the race it was a story line that compared to Rocky it kept your interest. Those old shows brought racing into your living room every weekend and i miss it, In the future i wish someone could step up to the plate like that hell or leave it off TV and save that money and put it in the purse for the racers that deserve it.
