Schneiderman Prepares for 2011
(West Burlington, IA – 4/12/2011) As some of the country has started their 2011 racing season, others are still preparing for theirs to begin. Josh Schneiderman and his Deuce Motorsports #2 and #49 are nearing completion. On April 2nd, the team shook down both the 360 and 410 cars at 34 Raceway. Things went extremely well and it was great to see the team's hard work all winter out on the race track.
"I'm really excited to get this season underway," commented the soon to be UNI graduate, "The team has worked extremely hard in the off-season and I cannot wait to get out there to show them how their hard work will pay off." Josh will be wheeling the Deuce Motorsports #2 this Saturday night at 34 Raceway, where he will race with the Sprint Invaders. "I'm really eager to get in the 2 car and continue the legacy it has with our team," says the 23 year old, "It's one of my old racecars that I've had a lot of success with, so that makes me even more anxious to get racing."
The team is scheduled to bring out the #49 car to compete with the newly formed MOWA 410 series at 34 Raceway on April 23rd. "It's really great that these guys have started this series to help promote 410 racing in this area," comments Josh, "I think the fans of this area will really appreciate it and it should be an awesome show." Josh and team will take the #49 and head for Knoxville Raceway on April 30th to begin weekly competition at the famed ½ mile.
"We have added a lot of great pieces in the off-season to both the #2 and the #49," says the tenth year driver, "Dad and Mom have worked hard to add some missing links to strengthen the chain. I think we are poised for a great season. We have set some lofty, realistic goals for 2011, but I know with the support of the team we have in place we will be able to get it done." As Josh continues to finish his studies at UNI, Bart and the boys in the shop are working hard to finish preparation of the cars.
