KILGORE TX (4/2/11) by DarinShort.com. With last night's A-features getting weathered out from a narrow band of pesky precip, ALL of the purse money from Friday night's feature races from the Modifieds, Limited Modifieds and Factory Stocks will be added directly into tonight's A-feature purses!
Plus the Lucas Oil Series Late Models have one qualifying race remaining to kick off the night, followed by their B-features and 100-lap, $20,000 to win championship feature. 48 Late Models were on hand, including drivers such as Billy Moyer, Scott Bloomquist, Jimmy Owens, Kelly Boen, Ray Moore, Ray Cook, Shannon Bab, Earl Pearson Jr., Jack Sullivan...it will make for a stellar night of racing on the 3/8 mile highbanks. The weather forecast shows beautiful, warm conditions with high's in the mid-80's and overnight lows in the mid-60's with a 10% chance of additional precip.
Here's how it's going to work for the MODS-LTDS-FS:
-MODIFIEDS: There were 12 Modifieds in attendance last night. The top 8 are locked in to the A-feature tonight. The remaining four cars will start at the front of the B-feature tonight (no heats). Any new drivers tonight will draw for position for the B-feature(s) behind those four drivers (if all four return). 12 modifieds will transfer from the B(s) to the A. There is no entry fee for new drivers coming tonight. A-FEATURE PAYBACK: $1000-600-400-320-280-240-200-160-160-160-160-160-160-150-150-120...through 20th. Cut-off for draw tonight is 6:45PM. Pit passes $35.
-LIMITED MODIFIEDS: There were 23 Limited Modifieds in attendance last night. The top 9 are locked in to the A-feature tonight (there were 3 heats). The remaining 14 cars will start at the front of the B-feature(s) tonight (no heats). Any new drivers tonight will draw for position for the B-feature(s) behind those returning drivers. 12 Limited Modifieds will transfer from the B(s) to the A. Note that the track is ADDING an additional starter to tonight's feature since they couldn't lock in just 8 cars from the 3 heats. There is no entry fee for new drivers coming tonight. A-FEATURE PAYBACK: $800-480-320-240-200-160-120-120-120-120-120-120-120-120-80..through 21st. Cut-off for draw tonight is 6:45PM. Pit passes $35.

The remaining four cars will start at the front of the B-feature(s) tonight (no heats). Any new drivers tonight will draw for position for the B-feature(s) behind those returning drivers. 12 Factory Stocks will transfer from the B(s) to the A.
