Saturday's ASCS Sooner Opener Washed Out; Reset for May 21 TULSA, Okla. (April 1, 2011) – One final rain shower on early Friday morning proved too much, with wet grounds at Mid-America Speedway in South Coffeyville, OK, forcing the postponement of Saturday night's scheduled American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region season opening event. The card atop the 3/10-mile, semi-banked Mid-America Speedway dirt oval has been reset for Saturday night, May 21. With Saturday's postponement, the ASCS Sooner Region will now kick off a 15-night slate of events on Saturday, May 7, with a $2,000-to-win tilt versus the ASCS Lone Star Region at the Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, TX. Additional information regarding the American Sprint Car Series is available at www.ascsracing.com

Maybe all of the drivers will head over to Wichita and increase the count over there.

I figure we might pick up an additional five cars. Brad Brown (IBRACIN) and I surfed the web and received emails and there were tons of drivers already commited, one team being Haley and Miranda Arnold out of Sedalia.
Am told Lasoski was going to be there tonight for practice. Will post updates from practice on another thread as soon as I receive my phone call.
I think this could be the biggest NCRA sprint car opener as far as talent goes in the series history.
