I'm going to be going to a school for a couple weeks in either May or July in Fond Du Lac. Wondering if there any tracks that run sprints regularly nearby. Thanks for any help,

John

The MSA 360's put on a great show each week plus at both Manitowoc and Plymouth both tracks have curfews so you are out early. Usually get around 28-32 cars a night. You can get more info at http://www.msasprints.com/

The IRA shows also put on a great show and you never know who might drop in at one of their shows. Their webiste is http://www.irasprints.com/

If you are here in July the Woo will be at Beaver Dam on July 9th only around 45 minutes from FDL.

If you can catch the IRA, it would be worth the drive. Since it is a 410 series, you never know who will show up. I know that the one summer that I watched them, I was surprised several times about the people who would run with them.

jbracing62, John, FYI for some Sunday nights and also a couple Sat. nights--keep in mind Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, WI. A great one third mile dirt oval that races BADGER midgets with some shows co-sanctined with USAC. Angell Park is an easy 60-65 mile drive from Fond duLac. They no longer race every Sun. night so please check their web site for their exact schedule. My opinion is you'll not be disappointed.

Angell Park is a must see. I definitely would schedule a trip to Angell park over any of the IRA shows. I absolutely love that place.

Thanks for all the responses. I'll probably only be able to catch 3 races tops, and I'm going to try to make Angell Park one of them. I've read a lot about the place, and this is probably a one time trip for me.

Thanks,

John

Angell Park is awesome, if they get more than 6 cars. With the exception of the Chilli Bowl midget racing has been a joke for the last 5 or 6 years. I reeally hope that Badger - USAC - Stars (formerly UMARA) - etc. etc. etc. gets thier heads out of thier a%!, and drives cost down, and puts more cars on the track. All 3 series have taken major hits recently and thier shows have suffered. Love Midgets, Raced Midgets, wouldn't pay .10cents to see a show currently.

Angell Park is AWESOME, shows are hurting.
