New Title Sponsor Announced for NCRA Southern Sport Mods!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – March 23, 2011 - The upcoming 2011 race season for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Smiley's Racing Products southern sport modified division has now acquired a title sponsor for their 3rd anniversary season as the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma based Bob Howard Parts Distribution Center (PDC) and Mopar is now title sponsor for the series.
The season, now known as NCRA of Park City, Kansas presented by Smiley's Racing Products/Bob Howard PDC and Mopar southern sport modified division, will kick off on Saturday night, April 2nd at 81 Speedway in Park City with the first of eleven races that are scheduled for the tour. Unless noted, all races will pay $500 to win and $100 to start each feature finale with the top ten drivers in the point standings entering each event receiving $25 in tow money. Drivers who utilize a Western Flyer Sport Mod chassis and win a series southern sport modified feature will earn an extra $1000 courtesy of Western Flyer Sport Mod chassis.
Triple B Oil Field Services out of Elk City, Oklahoma has also climbed aboard as series partner and will sponsor the division's rookie of the year.
It was also recently announced that this years series southern sport modified season champion will pick up $2000 at the yearend seasons banquet.
