NCRA Announces New Sponsors and Championship Payout!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – March 9, 2011 - The third anniversary season for the Park City, Kansas National Championship Racing Association presented by Smiley's Racing Products southern sport modified division will be the biggest to date as the 2011 series champion will take home double the amount the previous two years. Also a new sponsor has been announced for the divisions' rookie of the year the series officially announced Tuesday afternoon.
Eleven races are scheduled for the southern sport modified division with the series competing at eight different venues, three for the first time in the series short history. And once the dust settles in October, the points champion will take home $2000 at the yearend banquet in January of 2012.
It has also been announced that Triple B Oil Field Services in Elk City, Oklahoma has climbed aboard as series sponsor for the 2011 race season and will be the official sponsor of the southern sport modified rookie of the year.
The standard feature pay for the southern sport modified division is $500 to win and $100 to start each twenty car field. As a bonus, Western Flyer Sport Mod chassis based out of Oklahoma City will pay an extra $1000 to each feature finale winner who is competing with a Western Flyer sport mod chassis. Also, drivers in the top ten entering each event will earn $25 in tow money.
The series will kick off their 2011 race season in grand style on Saturday night, April 2nd, at 81 Speedway in Park City. Gates will open at 2:00 PM with tech time for all cars starting at 3:00 PM. The series sprint car and modified divisions will also kick off their 2011 race season on this night as well.
