Hi, I'm new to the area and am looking for info on Arlington and Redwood speedways. The website has some info but I am looking for more. I'm considering purchasing and running an IMCA sprinter at the tracks. I understand they run Arlington Saturdays and Redwood on Sundays?

How many sprint cars do they usually get at these tracks? Is there a local website with classifieds on it? I know roughly what a sprint car rolling chassis goes for, but what about the engine? And where is a good place to find an engine? Are they winged cars? The IMCA website says they run both winged and non winged depending on the track. Cost for entry fee weekly? (other than pit pass). Cost to join IMCA? Local place to buy spare parts? Any websites with photos of the cars and tracks at Arlington or Redwood? Any driver/team websites of people who run there weekly? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks, David.

Erv. Huwe has had cars at both tracks for the last 6 years and is now trying to sell out. He has 2 complete race ready cars and lots of spare parts. He would be willing to help you get started. If interested you can contact him at 507-276-0480.

I also think you should get one of Ervs cars. Both of his did really well at both tracks and is located in Gibbon which is between Arlington and Redwood Falls. Both tracks have the Jackpot Junction series race about once a month on the same weekend and get a few more racers. You can find Curt Lund in the 87 Jackopot Junction car on the internet. He races at Redwood and Jackson along with the Ascs series. I usually go to both tracks a couple times a month and if you need any help let me know.
