Heard from a friend in Victorville that the local paper there had an article today that stated that they had chosen a new promoter and that sprint car races were going to be a go there, has anybody else heard anything ??

As of right now it's a go. They have the first race scheduled for March 26th with the USAC/CRA coming to town!

New promoter is Steve Querico, a well known Monster Truck promoter. Could be very good for thre motorsports industry in Southern California.

As of right now they are talking about 3-4 dates from what I've heard. They have the first race posted on the front page of the track website. USAC doesn't have it on the schedule and they have it posted on there's. The schedule will be out shortly for the year they are still negotiating some things is what the word is up here.

Wouldn't be cool if the Monster Trucks crushed some wings during a North Vs. South shootout?

USAC does have it for 2 races. Steve will be running these 2 races and is in hopes to have a larger schedule with USAC next year. There is a shootout on March 26th that is not one of the scheduled USAC races. I believe it is a cash payout at the end of the night every night.
