PIEROVICH LEADS WESTERN MIDGETS TO KINGS SATURDAY
Scott Pierovich of Alamo, Calif., USAC’s 2005 Western Midget Car “Most Improved Driver,” aims for his second career series victory Saturday night when the series visits Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif.

Defending two-time series champion Jerome Rodela of El Monte, Calif. continues his quest for a third consecutive title in Saturday’s race, third in the 2007 standings, 32 back of Pierovich.
Danny Stratton, fourth in the current points, won USAC’s last Western Midget race at Hanford, in 2004.
