Brian Cannon Motorsports & Coors Light team up with Brett Miller & Care Free Pools Racing

By Gary Thomas

Chico, CA – February 16, 2011…With a new racing season upon us Brian Cannon Motorsports and Coors Light are pleased to announce a partnership with Care Free Pools Racing and driver Brett Miller, as the two sides will merge together for the 2011 campaign.

Cannon has been the crew chief for Miller over the past couple seasons and will now take on more duties, with the team planning on running with the California Sprint Car Civil War Series, as well as at Silver Dollar Speedway on Friday nights and the Placerville Speedway on Saturdays.

“I’m really happy to have Coors Light back on board with us this year and it will be great to continue our relationship with them,” commented Cannon. “We’ve been real fast with Brett Miller over the last two years and it will be awesome to have the chance to race even more with him this season.”

In 2010 Auburn’s Andy Forsberg drove the Brian Cannon Motorsports, Coors Light sponsored No. 47 sprinter to both the California Civil War Series title and the Placerville Speedway championship.

Miller also came very close to winning the Silver Dollar Speedway championship aboard the Care Free Pools Racing No. 1x mount, but was forced to miss a race late in the season that ended up costing him the title. The 21-year-old captured a feature win in July at SDS and ended the season second in points to Jason York.

The Brian Cannon Motorsports/ Coors Light/ Care Free Pools Racing No. 1x will kick off the 2011 season on Saturday March 5 at the Marysville Raceway Park. After that Miller and the team are scheduled to be in action at the annual Mini Gold Cup with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Silver Dollar Speedway.

Adolph Coors Company was founded in 1873 in Golden, Colorado and is renowned for having the largest on-site brewery facility in the world. Its principal subsidiary Coors Brewing Company is the nation's third largest brewer and throughout its history Coors has provided consumers with high-quality malt-beverage products using the finest ingredients available.

Dubbed the "Silver Bullet" Coors Light was introduced in 1978 and is the third largest selling beer in the country. Coors Light is also the official beer sponsor of NASCAR, the National Football League, the Oakland Raiders and is famous for its cold activated cans and bottles because, "When the mountains turn blue it's as cold as the Rockies." Coors Light's Rocky Mountain heritage and unique Frost Brewing process delivers that crisp, refreshing taste you can't find anywhere else.

Along with Coors Light the team will also start out the year sponsored by Care Free Pools, Platinum Powder Coating, FK Rod Ends and 103.5 the Blaze. T-shirts will also be available soon. More information on Brian Cannon Motorsports can be found at
