I know it is not the official announcement that you wanted. However, every Satruday morning the Racing Boys have a weekly radio show in KC. The Racing Boys are also the official web broadcasters of the ASCS.
They announced on thier show that there will not be a Sprint Bandits series.
Also, Lakeside Speedway was always the anchor of the Midwest Wingless sprint week tour with the Ron Shuman Classic. When Lakesides schedule was originally released the Classic date was listed a TBA. It is now listed as a regional ASCS winged show.
