Back in the mid 1990's I had Direct TV and could get one of the regional sports networks and one of them was from PA. Late at night they would show complete weekly racing programs from Williams Grove. I taped them at the time and love watching them during the winter.
I am wondering if that is still the case and are there other regional Fox Sports networks, along with the others (YES, MSG, etc.) around the country? I am considering dropping out Cox Cable and making the switch but this is one factor I am looking at.
Thank you in advance...

I had a big dish back then, and got to watch a lot of those Grove shows among other local races (mostly door bangers) from across the country. Also, picked up the live feed from the Chili Bowl one year. That was awesome. I guess they eventually started scrambling the live feeds, because, at first, I could pick up live feeds of most major sporting events, but they eventually disappeared. It was pretty cool to pick up the live feed of a NFL game, baseball game, or NASCAR race without commercials, because you usually got to hear what the announcers were saying during the commercial break. Sometimes it was very funny. Sometimes you got to find out what they really thought of certain players/drivers, and wasn't always flattering.

There is a strong possibility the The Local Lap Motor Sports T.V. show will be broadcast on Comcast and the Fox Sports Networkin the entire upper midwest in 2011. This will be the 3rd season of airing a weekly race show, the show has seen a ground swell of increasing viewship each year. Go to www.thelocallap.com for details of show content and regions the show will be broadcast in for 2011 season. The webb site will be updating content in the next few weeks.
