Does anyone know if the Knoxville Nationals Will run the same format as usual or now that it is a World Of Outlaw race will it go to a Woo format.

They will use Knoxville's format that they 've used for years but somethings will be affected , or will change compared to last year . There is allot more to this then we know at this time but I will find out I promise you that . Allot had to do with Knoxville saving some money , WoO wanted the the pubicity badly , GOODYEAR , AND MORE questions arise .

I highly doubt anything will change. The WoO is offering some sort of TV package whether it be covering the production costs or as part of a WoO TV package (which would be cool if that was the case), and Knoxville is giving the WoO a ton of added prestige to its schedule.
There is no reason for Knoxville to change formats, it would kill the event's magic.

The only difference in years past is that the WoO would split their entries to different qualifying nights. I don't remember, but I believe it was by car number.

after 2010 it should be the All-Star Knoxville Nationals. Shaffer took the big prize and Gravel took ROTY.
