i am not sure if there is an off the shelf automotive hose that will actually work correctly. i may be old school, but we used to make our own from two hoses or two heavy duty elbows. now most sprint car parts dealers have a heavy duty hose kit that has two hose pieces and metal tube that you can connect the hose pieces together with hose clamps. you can rotate the hose to fit and clamp it down. also you have to be careful with automotive hoses that have the wire in them that keeps the hose from collapsing. the wire can work its way into the water pump and screw it up. an after market hose designed for what you are using it for is your best bet. you might think it costs more, but by the time you mess around trying to find a hose that will work (your chances are slim) or try to make a hose that was never really designed heavy enough to keep from collapsing, you are better off just getting the kit. make sure you double hose clamp all connections. sorry for the long reply but such a small thing as a hose can screw up your night when you blow one or it collapses and you get hot and can't figure out why.
to indy and beyond!!

measure ur water pump end and ur radiator end and go to ur part store and see if they can match it. get a hose that has the spring in it so it doesnt collapse on u. i no the one i use works great but the radiator end is just a tad big so i got to make sure i get it tight.

I wanna say we use a hose cut down from a 1978 dodge van V-8 318, what have you, ive just picked mine up a tthe local NAPA , I believe there is only one strong 90 dergree bend in the lower hose for that type vehical? , im not sure if I gave you the correct year but a good parts man will let you exhamin the hoses used in that era , I dont know if we are lucky or good? but, we have never had a issue with one , with regards to a old one finally giving up , (car was fueled incorrectly also) it was gettn a lil toasty, anyway, there should not be any inner wire for collapsing ect, should just be a strait rubber hose , trim to fit like a glove in ten minutes , again im assuming we have the same radiator location ect , my waterpump does face down at about 210 degrees (7 o clock) to the right side of the car , hope that helps maybe?

BR Motorsports (and others), sell the correct hose for your application. See page 52 of their 2010 catalog.
Call BR (800-328-333), and get the right piece!
