Seems as if the Chili bowl might be done by CBS and things are in the works for some 2012 ASCS races done by CBS.

Even though this is still rumor, I can see it coming true. There was a Lucas Oil off road race recently on CBS. The people at Lucas Oil seem to bring all of their partners in the same direction at the same time, whether it be racing series or corporate partners. It's good to be associated with Lucas Oil.

The long running Show Me 100 for late models, which for years was held at West Plains Speedway in Missouri, was moved to Lucas Oil Speedway this year and they have already announced the 2011 version will be shown on CBS.

With Lucas Oil's in house production capabilities, it seems to me that this show will be a "time buy" by Lucas, and that they'll bear all of the costs of production. They're probably just paying CBS for the time slot - by hey, it's racing on TV!

It won't be live by any stretch, but still a positive development.

If it is live or not its good to be able to watch it, in fact on tv it would probably be better taped. However there is nothing better to watch live and in person than that 5 days of action.
