Western Flyer Sport Mod Chassis Climbs Aboard with Potential $1000 NCRA Bonus for 2011

 

PRESS RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – December 6, 2010 - Officials with the National Championship Racing Association are proud to announce that Oklahoma City based Western Flyer sport mod chassis will give an extra $1000 bonus at each NCRA southern sport modified event during the 2011 race season.

Any driver who reaches victory lane in the NCRA southern sport modified division in 2011 utilizing and having had purchased a new Western Flyer sport mod as a roller, from Western Flyer, will receive an extra $1000, courtesy of Western Flyer. This makes any series southern modified event a potential victory worth a total of $1500, $500 as the standard earnings for the feature winner plus the $1000 from Western Flyer sport mods chassis. The extra bonus will be paid by Western Flyer.

Western Flyer sport mod chassis was developed last winter by Jeff Jackson and Curtis Allen and have already seen success in their venture. Keith White of Academy, Texas claimed the 2010 national southern sport modified championship and track championships at Heart O' Texas Speedway in Waco, Texas and Kennedale Raceway Park in Waco, Texas utilizing a Western Flyer sport mod chassis. Their chassis has also been utilized by drivers throughout the state of not only Texas but Louisiana and Oklahoma as well.

This will be the third year for the Wichita, Kansas based NCRA southern sport modified division with dates already being scheduled for the 2011 race season. The 2011 race season will also be the 41st consecutive season for the series, sanctioning close to fifty races in their sprint car, late model, modified north, modified south and southern sport modified divisions combined.
