SPENCER EARNS 3RD STRAIGHT USAC/CRA TITLE;
KRUSEMAN TAKES “GLENN HOWARD MEMORIAL” FINALE


Mike Spencer of Temecula, Calif. locked up his third consecutive AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car title Saturday night and will be among champions honored this Friday night at the “Night of Champions” USAC National Awards Dinner in downtown Indianapolis, Ind.

Spencer finished 21st in Saturday’s race at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway but ended up with a massive 335-point margin over runner-up Danny Sheridan in the final standings.

Cory Kruseman of Ventura, Calif. led all 30 laps to win Saturday’s “Glenn Howard Memorial” at Perris. Kruseman and his Lucas Oil/Agromin Eagle/RC Performance machine were trailed by Tracy Hines, Bobby East, Matt Mitchell and Casey Shuman at the checkered flag. Damion Gardner was the fastest qualifier.

Congrats to Spencer as well as Ron Chaffin and Bruce Bromme on another championship!

I understand that at the beginning of the season it was decided that the "lil red sucker" needed to carry a little extra weight to even things up. Unfortunately they mounted all of the weight Mike Spencer's right foot.

Congratulations to Mike, Bruce, Ron and all of the people behind the scenes that makes this group successful season after season after...

Congratulations to the Kittle Blue Crew.....Paul, Chad, Ralph, Jimbo, Gary, Rich and Randy for a great year and a lot of effort necessary to keep four wheels under Danny. For all of the adversity 2010 turned out pretty damn well! Looking forward to seeing the 18 car for many more years to come.
