Nice field of cars to end the season. Cant wait to see Jeff's highlight video when posted. In looking at the final point standings one thing stands out: Damion Gardner finishing in 10th should NOT happen based on the few races as he has competed in.

Unfortunately, his result is another showing of the challenges facing the tracks today in getting cars out to race. Just by coming out to race, someone with a somewhat decent ride should be in the top ten by seasons end. There are other drivers in the top 20 that shouldnt be there with their "part time" turnouts as well. Hopefully things will change for the better.

"Only" 38 cars!? Let's sh*t-can the 410's and immediately bring in the problem solving 20 car ASCS series

Thanks to everyone at the PAS for getting the show in last night. It was a chilly night, and you guys ran a tight program and got us out before the rain hit. Well done!

Kind of hard to believe but Dum-ion did make at least half the season ! ! You have to remember how short our season out West really is.

I dig the sarcasm.

Changing sanctions does not solve the problem of up and down car counts. That has been an ongoing problem with most associations the past few years.

Unfortunately the race season is now over.So I assume the speculation and gossip will get most through the off-season.

Well you could alway's come around more often, you're always good for a little jab once in awhile.

He and his Brother are getting very fast. Hope they are back next year.

To dajm2 and fellow racers,

Jace is doing fine and all xrays turned out good. Back pain is subsiding and just a mild concussion. Thank you for your concern. We will see you next year!

Gardner raced in 44% of the shows that paid "CRA" points (11 of 25 nights) and still finished 10th in the points. This is a clear indication that there is a problem in getting cars out to the track. Both in quantity and quality. A decent team (doesnt have to be top 3-5 every night) that makes 80% of the shows should finish in the top 10 over a team running 44% of the shows even if that team wins a couple of races and the other team doesnt. 40% higher attendance should overcome that unless said team only makes the main every so often. It doesn't matter if the sanction is USAC or XYZ series, those kind of numbers shows what challenges we are facing as an industry.

Although I wasnt there, I second what Oakhurst said about kudos to the PAS for getting the race in Saturday. While watching football Saturday night and getting cutaway shots of the USC / Notre Dame game, I saw the rain they were playing in in L.A. and was wondering how the track was making out.

Ron,

Please let Jace know that the fans are thinking of him. My family was very concerned when we saw the flip Saturday. Thanks for the support you and your family gave PAS this year. Glad to hear we will see you next year!
