Braun Racing acquired by Turner Motorsports… Recently, it was announced that Turner Motorsports acquired select assets of Braun Racing. The team will continue to operate as Braun Racing for the remainder of the 2010 season. Plans for Turner Motorsports in 2011 include fielding three entries in both the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) and the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS). The NNS driver lineup will be announced in October.
Sweet on his NNS debut
"I am very excited to be making my Nationwide Series debut with Great Clips. I've talked a lot with Kasey [Kahne] about what to expect from the Nationwide cars and the differences between their handling and the truck's. It's been really helpful to have him to bounce ideas off of since he made the same transition from open-wheel to stock cars not too long ago. I want to thank everyone at Great Clips, Braun Racing and Turner Motorsports for giving me the opportunity to take the next step in my racing career."
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.
