TREY STARKS #55 ASCS NW, Skagit Speedway 410, Grays Harbor Raceway ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Trey running his first season in a full size sprint car 360 and 410 at the age of 14 racked up some great finishes thoughout the year and he's not finished. He finished 7th in the points standings of the ASCS NW, Won the race for rookie of the year in the ASCS NW Series, he ran approx. 35 races thus far most making the A Mains including becoming the youngest driver to make a World of Outlaws A main at Cottage Grove, OR. Trey is currently on the road to California for the annual Trophy Cup in Tulare and will finish off his season on the ASCS final few races down south. Trey is a 3rd generation driver following in the foot steps of his well know grandfather and father Arnie and John Starks and looks to be a serious contender in all races he runs from here on out. Trey Starks – Trey Starks wraps up week one of his 2011 season on a high note. Competing with the ASCS National Tour in California at Tulare and Hanford, Trey transferred from winning the B Main Wednesday night starting 17^th in the A running all the way up to finish 8^th. Back in action again tonight in Hanford Trey would start 10^th in the A Main and run all the way to 5^th and battle for 4^th with Tim Crawley before running into problems on lap 25 of 30 coming to a halt at the bottom of the track. Lap 25 Trey would restart in the back of the field and finish the night 14^th. Trey will be back in action next weekend at USA Raceway in Tuscon, AZ. Follow Trey at http://www.treystarks.com

TREY STARKS RACING- Week two of the 2011 season brought Trey Starks to USA Raceway in Tuscon, AZ where he would once again compete with the ASCS National Tour and work to continue the streak of Making the A Features. Night one Trey would have to come from the B-Main with a 3^rd place finish in the B he would once again be in the A feature, starting 19^th Trey would have an uphill battle and battle he did workin his way thru the pack to finish a respectable 11^th. Trey would return for night two and begin the night in a hole after drawing a 64 pill. In the Heat race he would gain two positions but not quite enough to make the A Feature. So starting 5^th in the B Main Trey would need a top 6 to transfer to the A. From the start it was a tight pack of cars, eventually the front runners starting to pull away from the rest, Trey running 6^th and the final transfer spot was in the fast pack pulling away from the rest and gaining on the front 5. Running the highside ready to overtake the 2 cars in front of him when disaster struck as the 2^nd place car would spin in mid track and in trying to keep the car going ran right into Trey’s high line leaving Trey nowhere to go and collecting Trey, ending his night and hopes for yet another A feature start. It’s racing and Trey and Crew will not give up on the quest to win and be a contender each time they show up at the track. Look for Trey in Las Vegas March 2 -3 with the World of Outlaws!!
