Wow, thank you so much for stating so clearly what is going on.
One of the most highly attended events of the Ventura County Fair is the destruction derby. If I remember correctly, they are charging over and above the fair admission to attend this event. Mr. Naylor could run a few of these, make some money and allow the VRA regulars to either take a night off or to test their skills against the teams at the other tracks.

Any steel block,23 degree-up nozzel 360 can run with 1 7/8 restrictors ....sheridan-faria-pombo come to win and their not going to that without a new right rear ,so the tire ain't stopping them from going to a new track.It's all about the money...when it's a big money race at Ventura ..it's worth the effort and expense to come....the weekly show can't pay well enough to cover the cost ...as long as All Coast and others put up big buck shows at Ventura...the big dogs will come...imo it ain't the rules and a tire change-or poping in a set of restrictors-or bolting on a set of mufflers,it's the economy and cost to run/possible return...these guys would run 7 days a week if they could afford to...want to see the big dogs run..find a way to increase the purse with additional sponsership money in the purse
