With only 2 weekends left going into tonight, there had been no rollovers at BMS....well that was taken care of tonight as there were 4 flips tonight with Chelsea Martin (mini sprint) Brandon James (e-sprint) Andrew Marshala & Brent Swift (sprints) getting upside down.

Feature winners...Mini sprints: Harly White (6 cars) Mini stocks: Leroy Burger (6 cars) Pros: Billy Goodnight (11 cars) E-sprints: Brent Swift (9 cars) Sprints: Travis Cobb (16 cars) E-Mods: Justin Allen (11 cars) A-Mods: Brian Wolfe (14 cars)

Races were finished at Midnight.

I will add more to the re-cap later today.

Congratulations to all the winners but especially Harley White and most of all my friend Brian Wolfe who FINALLY nailed down a victory in the modified division.

Billy Goodnight and Travis Cobb must really be bad azzes as they seem to either win or finish near the top each and every week. Would like to meet Billy as I hear he is a pretty good guy.

Thank you much for the 'lil tidbits Mike!

Goodnight has a fast car and is a smooth driver.Cobb likes using the high side where alot of guys do not go at Brills.

Notes from last night. Good crowd on hand with a very fast race track. If there's such a thing as a semi-tacky race track, that's what it was last night.

Mini sprints: 6 cars Heat winner #5 Hackney

Harley White jumped out to an early lead only to have her car quit on lap 4. Repairs were make to her car and she returned to the rear of the back as Shorty Burks took the point. On the restart of lap 4 White and Chelsea Martin got together in turn 2 with Martin rolling twice, she was okay. On the green Burks retained the lead till lap 7 when White overtook him coming out of turn 2. She was unchallenged to the checkered flag. 1)White 2)Burks 3)Hackney 4)#31 (new car)

Mini stocks: 6 cars Heat winner #21 Jay Caraveau

The Feature race went flag to flag with Stanley Powell leading the first 7 laps before Leroy Burger took the lead on lap 8 and coasted to the win. 1)Burger 2)Powell 3)Caraveau 4)#69 (new car)

Pro Stocks: 11 cars Heat winners #41 Billy Goodnight & #15 Brian Wolfe

This was the best race of the night. 20 lap feature that went flag to flag. Chad Weber took the early lead and held off Goodnight time and time again. A exciting two car battle for 13 laps as Weber stayed low with Goodnight on the high side through lapped traffic as Weber looked for his first feature win of the year. As they took the white flag it looked as Weber would pull it off but Goodnight came off the highside of turn 4 and won the drag race to the checkered flag. 1)Goodnight 2)Weber 3)Reed 4)Wolfe 5)Weller

E-sprints: 9 cars Heat winners #17 Jeremy Allen & #45 Gil White

On lap 1 coming out of turn 4, Nolan Boone spun, having no where to go Brandon James hit Boone and rolled his sprinter 3 times (the most spectacular flip of the night). He was uninjured but his car suffered major damage. On the restart White jumped out to a big lead with a yellow coming out for Brian Stinson on lap 6. I'm not sure what happened to White but he went to the back of the pack and Kevin Risely assumed the lead on lap 8. A second yellow on lap 13 when Boone & Dwayne Forsgren got together. Brent Swift took the lead on the ensuing green flag and went on to take the victory. 1)Swift 2)Risely 3)White 4)M.Caudle 5)Forsgren

Sprints: 17 cars Heat winners #4c Kyle Cobb, #41 Sheldon Barksdale & #9 Kyle Clark

Taking the initial green, Brent Swift ended up rolling his sprinter in turn 2. On the second restart, Andrew Marshala spun in turn 3 collecting Kevin Risely,Tim Kent, David Lambert & #21 (His 1st time driving at BMS). Risely and the 21 were done for the night. Kyle Cobbs' car lost power while the field was under red and was unable to rejoin the race ending his night. Taron Bean held the lead as the field went green only to see the red light again on lap 2 as Marshala rolled his sprinteron the backstrecth into turn 3. The restart saw Travis Cobb take the lead on lap 5 with the yellow being displayed on the next lap for a spin involing Colton Brewer & Jason Adams. Cobb was never seriously challenged and led the rest of the way. 1)T.Cobb 2)Lambert 3)T.Kent 4)B.Jennings 5)Barksdale

Modifieds: 15 cars Heat winners #42 Jeff Rozelle & Randy Bailey

Brian Wolfe took the early lead with Chad Davis taking over on lap 8. A yellow on lap 15 for an incident involving Bailey & Tommy Kirk brought the field together for the restart. Davis took the green with a hard charging Charles Day hot after the lead. On lap 18, Day got underneath Davis in turns 3 & 4 with Davis almost spinning, Davis got into the side of Day which left the door wide open for an opportunistic Wolfe to grab the lead and take the checks. 1)Wolfe 2)Davis 3)Day 4)Tillison 5)Goodman

E-Mods: 13 cars Heat winners #15 Mike Silmon & #16 Justin Allen

Don Chesser took the early lead. There where 2 yellows, one on lap 2 for Silmon & lap 3 for Patrick Coker. The green flap saw Steve Robinson grab the lead only to surrender it to Justin Allen on lap 7. Allen won going away. 1)Allen 2)Robinson 3)Sweitzer 4)Wiley 5)Walker

All things considered a pretty good night of racing. One more regular points night to the 2010 season.

Thanks Mike. format looks kinda familiar lol. Sounds like the racing was as crazy as the football game last night.

We will turn you into a reporter yet lol.

Good job Mike. I think Jeffrey Newell was driving Risely's non-wing car and that was Risely that flipped going into 3 in the 2-barrell. Marsalla had went to the pits and they wouldn't let him back out.

Thanks. Your right David. I knew that Jeffrey was driving it, just forgot (old age). I thought Risely had flipped instead of Marshala, but I was told by multiple people afterwards that it was the 87.

I'd like to thank Mark. He kept saying that if he got enough sprints he'd push up the purse and he did. We were told over the radio after that first red. He stepped it up to $600 to win and it made the rest of the race kind of interesting. I firmly believe if he keeps paying that he'll get 16 or more a night. The rest needs to be bumped up too though. $175 for 4th is rough. Anyway, just pointing out that he kept his word! Great track last night also. We were 4 wide for second coming out of 2 at one point.

Brandon you know as well as I that Mark is a man of his word.

I knew the night I was not there it would be a good race night.

I have always said that if people would support Mark then he would support the racers.

Way to go Mark, now if you would work with other Promoters in the state for next years program we may have something.

Common Rules seem to be at the fore front.
