What does it pay to win Thurday and Friday Nights Mainevents and how much to start the main for these nights at the Oval Nationals?
On Saturday, what does the top 5 positions pay and how much to start for the mainevent?
How many laps for the Mainevents on Thursday, Friday and Saturday?
Thanks
(I looked on the PAS website for purse information, laps and was unable to find the info.)

If I remember correctly it only pays 1200.00 to win the first two nights.

rbjr - What do you mean here we go again? I asked 2 questions. Purse and race length.
Thanks for the info CRA91 and Imissascot. 40 laps sounds perfect, I was afraid it might be shortened to 30laps.
Imiss - National USAC sprint car purse I believe pays a minimum $4k each night if I'm not mistaken. Even for midweek shows too.

jdfast-no disrespect intended, I just was stating that every year since the purse got chopped for the Ovals that the money (or lack thereof ) conversation shows up on the message boards. It's interesting (and enjoyable) reading all the viewpoints.

I think that they raised the National purse this year to 5k to win,but not 100 percent sure on that.
Last year the Ovals paid $500.00 to start the Sat. A main, but if you have a crew of 4 people it costs you 160.00 a night just for pit passes for a 3 day total of 480.00,so there goes your starting money and you haven't begun to pay for the cost of running the car.For being such a big race the payout isn't too good.As far as the racers are concerned, the payout at Calistoga is probably better throughout the field with all the bonus monies and product support, and that comes from the hard work of Steve Howard and many others who spend their time druming up all these extras for the racers, which is very much appreciated by all who run this race.
